AWAKEN AKIRA was created by two friends, Ash Thorp and Zaoeyo (XiaoLin Zeng), who wanted to collaborate on a tribute to the iconic anime, Akira, by Katsuhiro Otomo. They have re created very accurately iconic frames from the cult comic book and animation, adding their discrete touch. Beautiful work that makes us want to see more of this!
