BRUNO GECCHLIN was born in Italy in 1939. He worked 15 years under the direction of Ettore Sottsass for Olivetti in Milan designing electronic machines and office furniture.

He opened his own studio in 1976 providing product design to numerous companies like FIAT and Fratelli Guzzini. Later he focused on lighting design, creating over one hundred fixtures in 40 years for O-Luce, Skipper, Arteluce,  Flos, Antonangeli, Venini, Tronconi, Matsushita, IGuzzini and Reggiani.

Highly awarded, he is a three time recipient of the Compasso D’Oro in 1989, 1991 and 2004.
