English Translation
For the one who was born of man, "in the beginning" was the nipple, and the Verb comes afterwards, with the age of reason. The totality, as a totality, makes its appearance later, and its place is taken by what is present, by what "in the beginning" is given. The totality is embodied in an inadequate form and the subject assumes the part for the whole, thus operating an exchange that has the very name of the contradiction.
Maintaining an inadequate form in its entirety, that is, remaining in the most radical contradiction, is not only typical of the infant. The bodybuilder, for example, does nothing but substitute contents: the nipple comes out of the shape of the totality, and in it takes over the weight, the harmony of the muscle, the first prize to be pocketed. But the radicality of the contradiction does not mule: the subject remains in a twilight zone.
It is perhaps impossible to establish how much of will and of coarctation there is in this persistence. What is certain is that in this area of human action, in this contradiction the exchanges of meanings are in the foreground, so much so that even a simple lamp can easily be taken for the Iuminous mountain of Muhammad.
